Course Requirements
- Be at least 18 years of age.
- Be able to read, speak, write and understand the English language.
- Hold at least a private pilot certificate.
- 2nd Class Medical.
The minimum training requirements to obtain a Commercial Pilot’s License are as follows:
- 150 hours minimum of flight time which is made up of:
- 100 hours of Powered Aircraft.
- 100 hours of Pilot-in-Command.
- The Pilot-in-Command must be made up of:
- 35 Hours in a helicopter.
- 10 Hours of Cross-Country in a helicopter.
- 20 Hours of Commercial Flight Training.
- 10 Hours of Instrument training in an aircraft (helicopter of otherwise).
- 3 Hours in a helicopter in preparation for the practical test within 60-day period preceding the test.
